Finding a stock symbol:
Let’s say you want to research Apple, Inc.
You don’t know the ticker symbol and want to find out.
Step one:
- Click on “Research
Tools” from the home page.
Step two:
- Under Fundamental Tools and inside Google Finance, type the company
(Apple Inc) in the search finance box. As you type, you will find
the symbol.
The symbol is AAPL.
I want to learn about charts:
- Click on "Research
Tools" from the home page.
- Under Technical Tools, you will see the website, "Stockcharts.com."
This website is very educational to all investors.
